This week in class we learned about plate tectonics and heating. We looked at activites online showing the many bountryies of plate tectonics. One of the plate boutnries was a transformantion boundry where the two plates slid against each other. The converjent boutry is the next one we looked at where one plate mostly a oceanic plate will go smash into another plate mostly a land plate and then it will slid under melting into magma. The last boundry we saw was a divergent boundry where two plates move away from each other causeing magma to make more land. Then we learned about heating and convection and how cold air affects how particles move(it makes them move slower) and how heating affects how particles move too (it makes them move faster). Also how wearing a glove can help keep your hands cold on i hot summer day because it keeps the particls still.
